We are shooting a short documentary about the most important product designer of former East Germany.
Prof. Karl Clauss Dietel (*1934) lives and works in Chemnitz, formally known as Karl-Marx-Stadt.
His concepts are almost forgotten but in times of dramatic environmental developments they could be a forward-looking inspiration for a new generation of product-designers and consumers.

We believe that we can make a big difference if the products we buy are better designed. Our movie contributes to the world wide discourse on sustainability.
STOP STYLING will inspire, document a piece of design history and tell a great story.
We are targeting an international audience with interest in a more human product design. Forms influenced by a socialist system and the tale of a fascinating man.
1.
To help to remember Prof. Karl Clauss Dietel and his concepts. And to promote a sustainable product design, to avoid more pollution.
2.
