Global warming is real, so let's make it visible by applying it permanently and in large format in public spaces.

For years, climate scientists, backed by evidence and data, have urged swift action. But judging by the increase in global warming, almost no one is listening. How can complex scientific data be captured quickly enough in everyday life? In 2018, climatologist Ed Hawkins developed the Warming Stripes, which translate climate change into colors and make it immediately understandable. We now want to make the Warming Stripes permanently visible in large format in public space.

Juhu! Wir … also wir alle gemeinsam haben die 100%-Marke beim Crowdfunding erreicht! Am Tag 18 von 37! Das heißt zum einen, die Finanzierung der Waming Stripes auf der Sachsenbrücke ist jetzt gesichert! Wir gehen nun mit Elan Schritt für Schritt weiter, um die Streifen in den kommenden Wochen aufzutragen und diese mit einer Kundgebung am 30.4. auf der Sachsenbrücke mit euch gemeinsam zu eröffnen! Zum anderen heißt das jetzt auch, dass jeder weitere Euro in einen Förderfonds einfließen kann, mit dem wir weitere Warming Stripes in anderen Städten auch finanziell unterstützen können!

Bereits Interesse aus fünf weiteren Städten

Zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt gibt es bereits Rückfragen und Interesse aus fünf weiteren Städten. Wiesbaden, Mainz, Zorneding, Herford und jetzt neu, auch Göttingen. Also sagt es unbedingt noch weiter, lasst uns gemeinsam noch mehr draus machen! :-)
