The book describes Trajan's Column in Rome in words and pictures. On the over 200-metre-long frieze of Trajan's Column in Rome, the Roman Emperor Trajan documented his campaigns against the Dacians. Ancient art was originally by no means white, but painted in colour. In painstaking detail, electronic colouring has succeeded in restoring the appearance of the reliefs to what they might once have looked like. You have never seen the column like this before.
