Turning Tables aims to provide training, intercultural exchange and mentoring opportunities to refugees to facilitate their long-term integration in Germany. The project focuses on a training programme that delivers professional skills in the food and service sector and is complemented by practical internships via partnerships with restaurants and related organisations. The project also aims to promote intercultural exchange and limit social exclusion through events and workshops.

Liebe Unterstützer,

es gibt spannende Neuigkeiten zu erzählen seit unserem letzten Blogpost.

Unsere Teilnahmen an den beiden Messen Expat in the City und Heldenmarkt war ein voller Erfolg. Vielen Dank an alle für tolle Gespräche und eure Unterstützung. Unser Gewinnspiel auf der Messer Expat in the City hat allen Teilnehmern großen Spaß gemacht und wir möchten auch auf diesem Wege den Gewinnern von Karten für Feuerfrau (09. Oktober 2016 im Gasteig, München), orientalischer Gewürzsets und Kaffeegutscheinen bei uns in my Fable (Fuggerstr. 1, München) herzlich gratulieren.

Wir möchten euch außerdem mitteilen, dass wir nächste Woche am Sonntag den 20. März 2016 am Kochsalon von Culture Kitchen im Köşk teilnehmen werden. Dort gibt es nicht nur leckeres Essen und tolle Gespräche, sondern auch eine kleine Präsentation darüber was Turning Tables ausmacht. Also meldet euch an und kommt vorbei.

Dear Supporters,

We have lots of exciting news to tell you since our last blogpost.

Our participation at the fairs Expat in the City and Heldenmarkt in Munich last week were a great success. To those of you who dropped by, thank you for the great conversations and your support. All participants had so much fun with our lucky draw at Expat in the City fair and we also wanted to congratulate our lucky winners on tickets for Feuerfreu (09. October 2016 at Gasteig, Munich), assortments of the finest oriental spices and coffee vouchers at our café my Fable (Fuggerstr. 1, Munich).

We would also like to inform you that we will participate at the cooking event of Culture Kitchen at Köşk next Sunday the 20. March 2016. There will be delicious food, great talks and Turning Tables will also be running a short presentation. So subscribe and take part!
