This funding goal assures our project the 50% funding by the Cultural Foundation of Saxony. This money helps us to realize the film and to pay minimum wages.
Kotti is a multilayered hub of the city, where many different life realities meet. I set my personal story in relation to the social, political, and urban circumstances of the fall of the Berlin wall. The film illuminates different perspectives on the relationship of the human body to the space that surrounds it. Thereby, the focus lies on the conditions, in which body and space spawn each other.
I analyse the impact of the circumstances on my body as a child and how these experiences became part of my body memory. I Use theatrical exercises and thereby connect with my mother in a new way. She has been clean for 27 years and invites us into her memories of her past.
Through talking to (ex-)consumers we want to give insight into their individual stories. I am concerned with the aspirations Heroin promisses and whether they become fulfilled. Understanding the context within a society enables a view free from judgment and with empathy.
In february i graduated at the Art School HGB Leipzig, organizing an exhibition on this topic. Now i want to create further images in order to produce a documentary.
The film is directed towards anyone interested in performative appropriation of body and space. It is directed to people who have been in contact with Heroin, or people wo are interested in it.
You support a self organized, uncommercial movie production, thereby facilitating art- free from market interests. You support a team that presents a queer feminist alternative to heteronormative, binary powerstructures.

My works are based on direct interaction that address interpersonal relationships. They move within the spectrum of artistic activism and can be experienced through film and performance. I studied media art at the HGB Leipzig and graduated in 2019.
On my side stands an amazing team of people with queer feminist aspirations from the fields of dance, film, politics, light and music.
