What is this project all about?

Relationship becomes a test when suddenly the shelter of the city is missing. When escape is impossible. In the midst of the rough nature of the Scottish Highlands, two young men are confronted with the reality of their love,
and for the first time, sex is no cure-all, communication becomes inevitable.

On their way over wide grass plains and through deep valleys,
both start to doubt their love to each other.
While one has the feeling to lose his partner and to become numb, the other increasingly feels restricted, even if he enjoys to be loved.
They try compulsively to express their feelings, but it’s so quiet underwater.

What is the project goal and who is the project for?

Our aim is to bring our ideas to the screen in the best we can.
We address to all who want to go on a journey with us, to all who appreciate stories being told innovatively.
To all who want to participate in the development of an exciting film.

Why would you support this project?

Crowdfunding is an opportunity to support projects beyond mainstream.
Only trough the support of the community, a young, dedicated team will be able to realise their vision.
Besides the rewards you‘ll get, making you part of the project, you are presented a film which combines a seemingly common plot with a new way of storytelling, stunning scenes and an atmospheric score.

How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?

Actors and Crew first do without pay.

But there are expenses paid for board and lodging and traveling of the actors. Although there is camera equipment, we have to rent some more, to capture the beauty of scottish nature.

If we gain more money than needed, we would first reward the work of the actors and the composer.

The film will be presented at festivals all over Europe to as many people as possible.
Publishing a DVD is also thought about.

Who are the people behind the project?

We secured two talented actors for our project:
Filip Roch Januchowski from Berlin and Laurence Scott , actor at the Royal Conservatoire Scotland in Glasgow.

The sober score is composed by Phil Nylund , his film "Momentum" was shown at Cannes.

We are working with a crew from Scotland.

We are young filmmakers from Stuttgart, in the southwest of Germany, producing movies has been our passion for many years.
By the name "lilablassblaukariert" we have had some success.
We won the "Jugendvideopreis" and the "Jugendfilmpreis" for our stopmotion film "hatter".
At the moment we are finishing "8O" - a movie dealing with our us of resources.
Now we want to go further.
