What is this project all about?
After two tours across Europe and three EP´s we will record our first LP with Juan, our producer in the Funkhaus Berlin, at the end of March ´19 .
However, we need your support!
We are already able to finance a large part of the production costs (recording, mixing, mastering, etc.) through concert income, but we need you to help us fill in the rest.
We think that having a tangible product in the form of a beautiful vinyl is worth much more than a few digital files. Sadly, it is impossible for us to finance the production and pressing of vinyls all by our own.
We are not asking for charity but for an opportunity to create a meaningful and entertaining piece of art to fill you record shelves, you ears and your hearts.
What is the project goal and who is the project for?
The target group is quite simply everyone who likes to listen to live music. Sometimes we have troubles to define what genre we are playing… funk, soul, hip-hop, indie? A little bit of all of that but also not completely any of them. But do genres really matter anymore?
Give it a listen and make up your own mind!
Why would you support this project?
Because we love making music and sharing it with the world. That’s about it but we think it should be enough!
How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?
We will cover the production costs for the vinyl pressing and the CD production. In addition, there will be costs for the covers, booklets and additional WODU bonus merchandise, such as stickers or signed photos from our concerts.
Who are the people behind the project?
Moritz, Nathalie, Hannah, Hendrik, Gabriel and Adam. Adam may not be a musical part of the band, but he takes care of everything visual, from video editing to our general design.
Since we are all bound to earn a living through means other than music, we mainly consider the band our passion project. Nonetheless, we would love the chance to go further in our creative journey and professionalize our music. Our first album on vinyl is the next step!
