Yara Linss – the new studio album

„Yara sings sensitive chansons from her motherland. In soft Portuguese true stories are told, shifting between melancholy and wildness, dripping irony and deep feelings.
Yara recalls her musical roots. In a folkloristic influenced song series she reflects almost exclusively own compositions, but also classics of great composers of the Brazilian jazz and pop music as Pixinguinha or Chico Buarque.
Together with guitarist João Luis Nogueira, bassist André Cayres and percussionist Márcio Tubino, Yara sketches in pastels delicate musical fabrics in between art song and jazz ballad. Underneath and in between sounds, the unspoken and not asked are as important as the lyrics, which not only handle specific Brazilian emotional states but also general humanity.“

This is about funding the production of Yara’s new album. The production includes a variety of costs. It is not only about the studio recording, but also about the branding, the pressing, the band, travel costs, marketing - the whole artwork behind the scenes. The project includes a lot of people who have worked hard to get Yara’s new album done. We truly believe that this music will bring quality music out to the world and we need your support to enable us to do so and fund this project.
