Insgesamt benötigen wir 25.000 €, um den Bauantrag und bauliche Maßnahmen finanzieren und damit das ZiMMT eröffnen zu können
ZiMMT is a gallery, production space, concert hall, research lab and network all in one.
At ZiMMT, we provide the appropriate stage for the many facets of media immersion and a place for creative experimentation. As one of only a few cultural institutions nationwide, ZIMMT has an innovative 3D audio system consisting of 36 loudspeakers. This provides the future opportunity to develop and present immersive, space-consuming concerts, exhibitions and performances. In addition to the interdisciplinary exchange of artists and developers, we are particularly interested in the transfer of knowledge and workshops.
What happened so far: We have renovated the former crane hall from the ground up, installed a heating system, painted, laid electricity, installed speakers, organized seating, built a bar and much more. All this we have so far done voluntarily as an association, because we believe in the place and the project!
So, we're about to open the ZiMMT for you, because what would art be without people experiencing it?! Yet, before we can hold public events, there is still one crucial hurdle to clear: In order to start operating as an official venue, we have to apply for a building permit, undergo safety and fire protection inspection, and make certain constructional changes.
Goal
The goal of this campaign is to raise 25.000 € for the building permit, inspections and reconstruction measures so that we can make the ZiMMT permanently accessible to the public beyond the few association events.
Target Audience
With our first funding goal of 12.500 Euro we can take all necessary steps for acquiring the building permit:
With reaching our second funding goal of 25.000 Euro we can finance the necessary building measures and officially open the ZiMMT:
