Guanduo Música Disfarçada de Gente

Contemporaries of a vigorous and creative musical generation, the young musicians Eduardo Pinheiro and Juliano Camara have gained prominence in recent years after receiving the MIMO Instrumental Award (2016) and the BDMG Instrumental Award (2015). Together they form the Guanduo, a duo of 7-string guitars that is committed to create an original repertoire for this formation and research of Brazilian popular music.

After releasing the first album made up of compositions for duo guitars, the duo is developing this new project, which aims to bring together musicians of different generations, cultures and nationalities, but who share a great musical affinity. After traveling a good part of Brazil, the duo settled in Europe to gather new experiences and develop the new repertoire, bringing new nuances to their language. This cultural exchange intensified the duo's desire to interact with other instruments and instrumentalists. So raised up the conception of 'Música Disfarçada de Gente' that means

The realization of this project will expand the reach of contemporary Brazilian music nationally and internationally and will contribute to the artistic development of musicians of different generations and profiles.

The first third part of the project was already paid on the Brazil's phase, although we still need around 27.000 reais (Brazilian currency, correspond approximately 6.600 dollars). So we decided to develop a crowdfunding in english to reach people, musicians and friends that could be interested to contribute on our music.
