The test pressings came in the mail! 📦

I hope you're all doing well! I figured it's time for an update on the vinyl situation!
The good news is: The test pressings recently arrived in the mail! The bad news is: Upon careful listening on multiple record players, I discovered an issue with sibilance distortion, which manifests as distorted "S" sounds and cymbals. This problem persists even on high-end setups. While some people I've spoken to mentioned that this is normal for vinyl and it wouldn't be worth it to order new test pressings, I really want this record to be as good as possible. This is why I made some adjustments to the mixes and masters, mainly de-essing the vocals a bit more and reducing the overall volume of the masters, which I think will fix the problem. This means, that it will unfortunately take some more time for the finished products to arrive, but I really want to be 100% satisfied with the end result. I promise to keep you all in the loop and will provide a new update once the new test pressings arrive in a few weeks!
