MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

In Kürze:
- Am 19. Juni 2022, um 18:38 habe ich das Fahrzeug in Lemberg an einen Kontakt übergeben, der es nach Kiew gefahren hat.
- Insgesamt hat mein Trip 5 Tage gedauert
- 48 Stunden Wartezeit an der polnisch-ukrainischen Grenze
- Drei Nächte im Auto geschlafen, eine im Bus
- Das Auto befindet sich gerade in Kiew, wo es ukrainische Papiere bekommt und in einer Werkstatt auf Herz und Nieren gecheckt wird. Anschließend wird es in unmittelbare Frontnähe gefahren.
Ich werde nächste Woche einen längeren Post zum gesamten Trip schreiben mit mehr Bildern und Videos. Hiermit wollte ich nur kurz berichten, dass alles erfolgreich verlaufen ist. Bis wir Fotos von der Front bekommen, kann es aber noch ca. zwei Wochen dauern. Mein Freund befindet sich gerade im Einsatz und wartet auf seine Rotation bis er das Fahrzeug abholen kann.

In a nutshell:
- On June 19, 2022, at 18:38 I handed over the vehicle in Lviv to a contact who drove it to Kiev.
- In total my trip lasted 5 days
- 48 hours of waiting at the Polish-Ukrainian border
- Slept three nights in the car, one in the bus
- The car is currently in Kiev, where it gets Ukrainian papers and is checked thoroughly in a garage. It will then be driven to the immediate front.
I will write a longer post about the whole trip next week with more pictures and videos. With this, I just wanted to briefly report that everything went successfully. Until we get pictures from the front, it can still take about two weeks. However, it may be another two weeks or so before we get pictures of the front. My friend is currently in the field and waiting for his rotation until he can pick up the vehicle.
