Annika is fascinated by the many facets of human existence, which is the foundation of her work. After finishing her Master’s Degree in Human Centered Design, she further developed her passion through creating participatory experiences. In the past years she has worked on audiovisual campaigns for organisations like the Red Cross.
Her focus lies on storytelling and writing.

She is part of the directing duo BLITZ OPAQUE, which loves to play with moments of revelation and the mysterious to create vivid audiovisual stories. Her and Alexander's work is a colorful fusion of their different backgrounds and perspectives.

One of their latest short films is PERIODE 28, a mystical ode to the beauty of the female cycle. It won “best Austrian Online Film 2019” at the Austrian Film Festival. Selected by the Cinema Next Tour, it was shown in cinemas across Austria in 2018.
