Emilia is a social entrepreneur with more than 13 years of experience with social impact projects and sustainable development. Based in Berlin, she leads Hilo Sagrado a foundation that works with indigenous communities in La Guajira that has been recognized as a top social innovation in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) that uses creativity to improve people’s lives by the Inter American Development Bank.

She has also founded Petit Kolibri, an organic clothing brand for children distributing in Europe, USA, and Korea. Previously, she worked with leading companies in the fashion industry such as Inditex, and in recent years she has consulted several projects to foster sustainable textile business development in emerging markets in Latin America and Africa.
