The biochemistry of the human metabolism is my passion since 16 years. That is the reason I studied nutrition science at TUM, worked as a science journalist voluntarily next to my studies and enjoyed additional courses in the field of neurobiology and neurogenetics. The fascination for the human brain and the impact of nutrients and metabolic pathways led me to DZNE (center for neurodegenerative diseases) where I worked as an intern in the research of Parkinsons disease.
While my passion lies in the field of the complex interconnections of the human body, I also love maths, writing a 40-page curve discussion at my thesis at school. These two interests combined allowed me to write mathematical algorithms for the scalable calculation of personalized meal plans, which were the basis of Foodpunk when I founded this company in 2015.
