Born in Freiburg i.Br. in 1967. 1986 A-levels.
1986-1990 Training in higher administrative service. Graduation: Dipl.-Verwaltungswirtin/FH.
1990-1992 Basic studies in AVL, art history and political science at the University of Stuttgart. Internships in the media sector, e.g. in Berlin, Budapest.
1992-1998 Studies at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, graduation: diploma in directing.
Lecturers such as Egon Monk, Frank Beyer, Nico Hofmann, Thomas Schadt and Helga Reidemeister were formative. The graduation film "Die Liebe, mein Schatz, ist bodenlos" was nominated for Best Graduation Film of German Film Schools and received the GEMA award in 1999 for the music by Oliver Heise.
I have been an assistant director at theaters, worked for film festivals, built up and directed the school film program for NaturVision. My passion is projects in the field of media education with children/youth. I am on juries, volunteer and love improvisation theater.
