Mélodie is from France and has been living in Berlin for the past 10 years. For 8 years, she was part of the collective running ausland. Mélodie also plays experimental music and is currently curating our early evening concert series "odd wednesday". Today is odd and wednesday, so it goes without saying this day was meant to portray her. Important: In this video, Mélodie is also coming back to the fact that not all our 38 team members are still in financial difficulty, but that some cannot apply for social helps. TEAM PORTRAIT #3 – JÂE & ADOMAS Learn the bromance between Jâe & Adomas: [Link entfernt] Today we would like to introduce you - from feft to right - Jâe & Adomas. Jâe is from South Korea and has been working with us since December 2018. Adomas is from Lithuania and is part of the Acud Team for a little longer. Beyond being colleagues, those two amazing guys are friends, living a bromance since they met in New York in 2013 🖤. Separated for a while - Jâe going back to Seoul and Adomas moving to Brussels - they met again finding a common home at ACUD MACHT NEU. Jâe Shift SixSix moved around since he's young but it's here in Berlin that he finally feels at home. He used to DJ in NY and keeps doing music as a hobby. He is part of the recently launched performance and party collective Hybris, taking care of the music side together with Hyui Ines Rmi - also working with us as a sound technician. Jâe and Hyui are siblings, and believe us phenomena at Karaoke!! Adomas Laurinaitis is a singer/songwriter, mixing jazz/soul vocals with dark electronic sounds. His performances often has a churchy feel to it. In Brussels, he used to manage a 16 women choir called "Black Widows", doing dark electronics covers. Adomas was supposed to play live last March 19th for Multitude Mixtape, we will make it happen, no worries. For the crowdfunding, Adomas proposes you as a reward 'Confessional Pax' - Digital copy of a hymnal / songbook + 1 of the songs of your choice on request, performed live (via the holy internet ). TEAM PORTRAIT #2 - Saskia Meet Saskia here:[Link entfernt] Today Meet Saskia Bert from our Team. Saskia is 28 and from Berlin. She has been working at ACUD since 2,5 years, as bartender. She also organised ACUD MACHT SOMMER event series last summer, so if you had nice time in our backyard it's thanks to her! Saskia is part of the club and music community: She organises a non profit party series called WET Wet vienna (lesbian* techno party), mainly responsible for booking. Saskia is also barkeeping at ABOUT BLANK and doing Press work for various cultural projects. "ACUD brings so many different things and people together. I LOVE the multidisciplinarity, because the programm offers club nights, talks, concerts etc etc etc. Because of that we, as the team, always meet new people (the organisers AND guests) and we have the chance to be part of different scenes. Because of ACUD Ive experienced so many great nights with unique artists, I otherwise would have never been able to experience. Berlin needs this special place, that gives opportunities to organisers to express and develop a more underground scene apart from all the big club nights we find in our city."

TEAM PORTRAIT #1 - Ada Meet Ada here: [Link entfernt] 5/ oday we would like to present you Ada Favaron, our graphic design assistant here at ACUD MACHT NEU. Ada is from the North of Italy and is working with us since almost a year now <3 Together with Julie Gayard Co-Founder & Art Director of the house, they're creating ACUD MACHT NEU Visual Identity, posters, flyers, printed every month at Colorama - the risoprinting-studio of Johanna Maierski, also located in the ACUD Kunsthaus. Ada's graphic style is joyful, playful & colorful. She's a fan of paper-cuts. As special rewards, she's offering unique edition collages - W*O*W. Alongside some beautiful printed books by Colorma as well!
