Dear friends, Club der Visionaere, and its sister Hoppetosse, need your help to keep survive. After last year’s fire at CDV and the ensuing costs – including ongoing structural and sound repairs -- we are struggling to survive the continuing Corona Virus setbacks. We have managed to make it through the last 20 years, but have exhausted our resources in the last year since the fire, trying to stay afloat. This latest crisis may now be too much and we may not be able to overcome it alone.

Worum geht es in dem Projekt?
You the people, the music, the weeping willow, the canal, the spree, the love and keeping it all alive at CDV and Hoppetosse.
In 2001, Club der Visionaere opened its doors for the first time. Since then, together with you, we built CDV into the haven and for many, the second home that it is today. In June 2019, we had a devastating fire which caused a temporary closure after which we could only reopen with limited capacity. We are still recovering from this setback as we continue to reconstruct the back area and redo the sound system to meet new restrictions (the sound will actually be loader for us but quieter for neighbors).
Now with the Covid19 closure and restrictions, we are truly struggling and are at risk of closing permanently. We are asking for your help to keep our doors open.
We know these are challenging times for everyone and so appreciate all donations no matter how big and small – every contribution counts!
Was sind die Ziele und wer ist die Zielgruppe?
To save the clubs from bankruptcy, we need your donations to help cover ongoing running costs and continue the recovery build of CDV necessary after the fire. This is an appeal to lovers of the clubs both in Berlin and around the world and to anyone who would like to support in a time of need and see CDV flourish again.

You (our friends and guests) and us, including (in random order) …bartenders, carpenters, cleaners, artists, bar runners, caterers, bouncers, coat check attendants, door staff, promoters, graphic artists, dancers, technicians, musicians, logicians, administrators, and the broader community.
CDV and Hoppetosse are all these people.
