Summer's End Boat Party

We are a small clandestine expat community raising funds for a boat party in September on the Spree to celebrate the end of summer.

We are a small community of expats who recently arrived in Berlin. Some of us even during the tough to bear lockdown. So that lead us to the idea to organise small social events to not only network amongst us professionally but first and foremost to make new friends in the city. Because as some of us might have experienced: the Berlin natives aren't exactly easy to make friends with haha ;-) so let's start with our peers. And let's start now.

Worum geht es in dem Projekt?

This "project" is all about having fun on a boat, baby!

PLEASE NOTE:
this is a BYOB party, so bring your own beers, drinks, or whatever you prefer. There will be two fridges on board.

WHEN: September 12th, 3 - 7pm

ATTENTION:
there will be a warm up for the party with some free drinks.

Was sind die Ziele und wer ist die Zielgruppe?

The goal is to throw a nice little boat party for a small bunch of lovely people.

Warum sollte jemand dieses Projekt unterstützen?

Support this project if you want to have fund on a boat :-D but also support this project, if you are hungry to meet new, smart, and interesting people in your life, because you never know: strangers might become friends!

Was passiert mit dem Geld bei erfolgreicher Finanzierung?

All proceeds will go towards the rental of the boat, gas costs, insurance, and the two fridges on board need to be payed for, too.

Also included is a small contribution for utility costs of approximately 5€ per person being used for car sharing, buying drinks for the warm up, ice, etc.

Last but not least there's an obligatory fee for using this Startnext platform of 5%

lump sum amounts to approximately 600€
