TAO" delves deep into the unseen waters of prenatal existence. The viewer experiences the increasing conflicts of the expecting parents and their effects on the unborn child through the thoughts and feelings of the fetus.
With an experimental approach, the film attempts to let the viewer experience the inner "thoughts" and emotions of a fetus through the artful use of light, sound, perspective and color.
Accompany us on a journey to the beginnings of perception and feeling, in which the ego boundaries dissolve, at least for a certain period of time, and make it possible to experience a unity of "oneness".
"TAO" is an invitation to reflect on the origins of our deepest fears and needs and on the meaning of unconditional love
With our film, we aim to explore the origins of depression and/or other mental illnesses, often traced back to a traumatic childhood and the relationship with the primary caregiver.
We aspire to create a film that deeply moves the audience. Our goal is to convey a feeling and insight that fosters more love, mutual understanding, and communication while distancing from blame and intergenerational pain. Our film aims to inspire new research questions and interest in trauma coping. Moreover, it seeks to promote a holistic approach to healing and encourage open discourse.
In addition to basic expenses such as catering or renting the filming locations, we are raising money to be able to rent additional equipment and cover travel costs for the crew and cast. The costumes and appropriate props are also important for the overall mood of the film.
A part of the production costs are covered by the team, but the required budget is too high to finance it completely privately. We need your support to implement the project so that it has the emotional effect that it needs to bring the message to the people.
All participants work unpaid and voluntarily. The money raised thus goes exclusively to the realization of the shoot and the implementation of the entire film project.
We are happy about every little help to realize our film.
Behind “TAO” stands a motivated team.
