Worum geht es in dem Projekt?

In order to raise awareness and money to support those affected by the agression on Lebanon, we teamed up with talented Artists and friends that have generously donated their work for print. All the proceeds raised with this Initiative will be donated the Non- Profit Organization we trust "Design For Communities" - (D4C)

We will be selling prints across the EU and the UK.
-->Shipments will start shortly after the funding period has finished, and we aim to have them deliverd by the end of November 2024
-->To reduce any confusion: Your donations will only be taken from your account once we reached our goal and the fundraiser has closed.

If you are in a country outside the EU and are interested in buying a print please write us a message! If there are several interested from the same city we will try to organize a cost-effective shipping.

Was sind die Ziele und wer ist die Zielgruppe?

"Art means nothing if it simply decorates the dinner table of power which holds it hostage."- Adrienne Rich.

EYEUNAs goal is to generate real humanitarian impact though curating art print sales.

With the collection "All eyes on Lebanon" we chose to donate all proceeds to the local NGO "Design for Communities" (D4C) founded in 2018 and based in Beirut, Lebanon. D4C brings together individuals from diverse backgrounds to design and implement community-based projects that address societal and environmental needs in Lebanon and the region. Its mission is to use innovation to improve the quality of life by providing dignified spaces for vulnerable and affected communities. Through a participatory approach, D4C empowers young, socially conscious architects and engineers to act on the ground, promoting positive change for a better future.

Warum sollte jemand dieses Projekt unterstützen?

Daily bombaredment by the Israeli military on residential areas all over Lebanon has displaced over 1.4 million individuals so far. The displaced have lost their homes, belongings, making safe and dignified shelters a crucial first step towards a basic sense of security.
Urgent access to basic necessities like food, water, and shelter is needed. By donating, you are directly contributing to relief efforts through the organization, Design for Communities, which is working on the ground to distribute these essentials.

Was passiert mit dem Geld bei erfolgreicher Finanzierung?

All of the money raised with this campaign (minus costs of printing and shipment) will be fully donated to the NGO Design for Communities (D4C)

D4C is a Beirut-based NGO that unites individuals from diverse backgrounds to design and implement community-based projects that address societal and environmental needs in Lebanon and the region. As over 1 million have lost their homes and their belongings in Lebanon, D4C is currently providing and organising safe and dignified shelters as well as the distribution of essential supplies to offer the Internally Displaced Population a first step toward stability and support. More details below:

Emergency Kitchens:
In collaboration with Ahla Fawda NGO, D4C are designing and constructing emergency kitchens serving internally displaced people. The Community Kitchen in Ahla Fawda, an Eco-hub in Hamra, will be a lifeline for families who have lost their homes and livelihoods. Two containers will be transformed into a hygienic, ventilated, and functional community kitchen. Vulnerable communities will be engaged in preparing the food. By providing 2000 free, nutritious meals daily, D4C aims to fight hunger and bring stability and hope to those whose lives have been upended by war.
Collective Shelters:
A team of 15 young architects and engineers supports public schools hosting internally displaced people. After a short training and following D4C guidelines, the agents help the school administration with practical solutions for collective shelters related to school buildings, such as establishing kitchens, sanitary installations, or separating classrooms. D4C is currently surveying 20 public schools in which they will intervene to improve the affected people's living conditions
Learning Pods:
In collaboration with LAL (Lebanese Alternative Learning), D4C is designing and constructing “Learning Pods” to serve as makeshift learning spaces for internally displaced children, creating a safe, hopeful environment where children can momentarily disconnect from the trauma they are going through. Psychosocial support activities will also take place in the domes, offering a much-needed space for emotional healing and mental well-being. Each dome will accommodate up to 30 students, allowing thousands of displaced children to regain a sense of routine, stability, and hope. Through education and emotional support, these domes will become vital sanctuaries for children during these challenging times.

Each poster is available for a minimum donation, but you’re welcome to contribute more! Your generosity will directly help vulnerable communities in Lebanon during these challenging times.
