1000 Meilen Wind - The Photobook
In October 2014 I set sails. I travelled across the Atlantic Ocean to the Carribean, on board of TRES HOMBRES, the only sailing cargo ship without an engine. There and during several stops along the route, we stored cargo like wine, rum and chocolate, to bring these goods to Europe without leaving a carbon footprint.
On the journey I took photos and wrote a weblog.

It's a photobook for all the sailors, the travellers, adventurers and everybody who wants to be inspired by an extraordinary journey.
My journey was an adventure that cost a lot of energy and enthusiasm. But in the end, it was a big dream come true. It's the same with the photobook to come.
I made the decision to go without a publishing company by heart. I chose freedom, but also the risk to fail. Just like I did when sailing out on the ocean.
So every funding is a bit like the wind, bringing me closer to shore.
Successfully funded, I will realise a first edition of the photobook as softcover. That means I will need the money for:
What if there is more money than needed for funding
If there is more money, than is needed to reach the funding goal, I will use it the make the book even more awesome.
There are some ideas to do so:
It's only me. No professional publisher, no company behind me. Just me, the feelance photographer and adventurer.
Okay, seriously: I have some help for layout and production, but all the responsibility is on my shoulders.
