Some very special treasures came up that we definitely want to share with you. And we have put together an anniversary soundtrack that we want to release on CD and vinyl for you and with your support. We are looking forward to your support to realize this project.

What is this project all about?

20 years of Äl Jawala - We want to celebrate with you!
So many incredible things have happened in these 20 years that we would like to share with you.
Our idea is to produce a music film for the anniversary that captures the essence of the early street music days until today.
On March 4, 2022 we want to celebrate the premiere of the film with you. Join us at the Jazzhaus in Freiburg, or be there via live stream, wherever you are....
As a special treat, we want to bring out the 20th anniversary Al Jawala soundtrack on vinyl for you.

What is the project goal and who is the project for?

Everyone who loves music. Live music! Everyone who loves Äl Jawala and has met us on our travels. Everyone who connects and shares something with us, or who may be just discovering Äl Jawala.
The most important goal for us is to have an unforgettable film premiere party with you on March 4, 2022
A journey through the Jawala world, with us, with friends, with many good memories and good news.

Who are the people behind the project?

Behind the project is us, the band Al Jawala.
We are Stefanie Schimmer, Daniel Pellegrini, Krischan Lukanow and Markus Schumacher.
Four music obsessives who met at a campfire in their early twenties and after first jam sessions decided to make street music together....
