What is this project all about?
We’ve recorded a genre-crossing album, and we need your support to complete its production and release.
This album takes you on a journey to ALTARA.
In 11 stages, you’ll hop through as many genres as a bouncy ball on a world tour, playfully exploring the landscapes of jazz, indie pop, rap, EDM, and more. You’ll encounter otherworldly beings like saxophone, guitar, and drums, as well as lyrical narratives of epic tales from the land of ALTARA, along with mysterious soundscapes. We present you honest and original music that dances between intricate compositions and improvisation.
Dare to jump with us into the pool of emotions, cross scorching deserts, and climb towering mountains. Will we uncover the true secret of ALTARA?
What is the project goal and who is the project for?
Our goal is to master our already recorded second album, press CDs and vinyl, and launch an extensive promotional campaign to bring our musical vision to life. We want to create music that moves you, breaks new ground, and takes you on a journey full of unexpected adventures. The album is set to release in June 2025.

How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?
We’ve already managed to record the album on our own, but there are still some essential steps needed before we can release it:
Mastering
Mastering is the process of giving the audio files the final polish so they sound perfect in any situation – whether on the radio, your phone, your grandma’s Hi-Fi system, or in your car.
CD/Vinyl Pressing
So you can hold our music in your hands and play it on your dad’s old turntable, we need to have the CDs and vinyls pressed at a manufacturing plant.
Promotion
In order for the world to hear about our amazing new album, we need a budget for a successful promotional campaign.
Who are the people behind the project?
We, The Ingen Navn Trio is a German/Italian trio currently based in Cologne. For the past 6 years, we've been journeying from beautiful, dreamy melodies to wild, energetic rhythmic sections, showcasing genre-crossing creativity.
We are:
Inga Rothammel – Saxophone (soprano, alto, and baritone saxophones) / Lyrics
Rocco Romano – Guitar
Hendrik Eichler – Drums
Additionally, our trusted recording and mixing engineer, Steffen Lütke, and our label, Berthold Records, are also involved in the making of our album.
