Mit dem Erreichen des Fundingsziel soll die Produktion der 1. Serie finanziert werden.
Korean cuisine is becoming more and more popular in Germany, but the hurdles to cooking Korean at home are still very high. The right ingredients can usually only be found in Asian grocery stores. For many people, this means additional work in everyday life. The Korean cuisine is incredibly delicious and absolutely versatile! With the marinades from Arang you can cook Korean dishes quickly and easily.
The following varieties are currently available:
Bulgogi sauce: based on a dark soy sauce, slightly sweet in taste
Gochujang sauce: based on a fermented chilli paste, rather hot
Both sauces can be used in the classic way for pickling fish and meat or for refining tofu or vegetable dishes. The sauces are also ideal for bowls or wok dishes of all kinds and give every dish that certain something extra!
The marinades are currently available in the online shop and from individual retailers in Hamburg. My goal is to continue to grow with Arang and to be available in stores throughout Germany in the future. For this it is necessary to outsource the production of the marinades to a trustworthy producer. Everything is already prepared for this, but in order to take the decisive step, I still need a jump-start.
Arang's food products are aimed at everyone who has a passion for Asian or especially Korean food. Are you open and curious about exotic taste experiences? Then you've come to the right place at Arang! Because Korean cuisine is not only healthy and delicious, but above all very varied!
There are many reasons, but here are the top three reasons:
If the financing is successful, the first series production for the marinades can be started. Everything has already been discussed with the contract manufacturer and we are ready to go!
Hello, I am Sung-Hee (married, two children) and the founder of Arang. I was born and grew up in Hamburg and am very familiar with Korean cuisine through my parents. It was my parents who opened the first Korean restaurant called "Arang" in northern Germany in 1975 (Kleine Reichenstr. 16 in Hamburg).
It was not planned that I would bring Korean food products onto the market more than forty years later. The Corona period has turned life upside down for many people and during this time I also asked myself whether there is something where I could put all my strengths and my previous experiences into something new and sustainable and thus create a positive impact on society.
As a Korean born in Germany, it is very important to me to bring Korean culture closer to all interested people here in Germany. And that goes wonderfully with food! Getting to know another (culinary) culture while cooking or having dinner together can be so enriching and inspiring. Trying out something different and thinking outside the box - I think that's something we need more than ever in these times!
Arang produziert koreanische Convenience Food Produkte in Deutschland.
