Assaboots are traditional boots from Japan. The construction is very intelligent and it’s just comfortable to wear them. A recent japanese study shows that wearing these shoes is beneficial to the overall health of the foot. You can support the campaign by simply ordering a pair of shoes yourself. It’s just 69 Euros.

What is this project all about?
Assaboots are traditional japanese shoes. The construction is simple but smart – wearing these shoes give you a sense of being barefoot. That’s why they are called „Barfuss-Schuhe“ „Barefoot Shoes“. There has been a study that has been released recently in Japan that shows that these shoes are very healthy from a orthopedic perspective. It just makes sense: There is nothing as healthy for your feet as being barefoot. And wearing these shoes is almost like being barefoot. So it’s healthy as wearing any kind of shoes could be.
This Crowdfunding is as simple as that: If there are one hundred people who care about their feet and want to give Assaboots a chance I will have the necessary funds to start importing these shoes from Japan. Importing less shoes would lead to a higher costs per imported shoes and wouldn’t make any sense from an economical point of view. I want to start this business with equity only. No banks involved.
So get your shoes now. If they don’t fit we will send you shoes in another size. No problem. The shoes run small (e.g. if you normally have size 43 or 44 please order 44.) There will be Assaboots TRY-OUTs in Berlin during the campaign. Facebook will keep you updated.
What is the project goal and who is the project for?
The crowdfunded money would be used to:
1.Import shoes from Japan for a good price per unit (only if at least 100 shoes will be purchased.
2.Get the necessary funds for marketing activities and other assets to launch a business in Germany.
Our typical customer is someone who cares about his health and thinks about the shoes he wears becaue he knows how important the health of his feet is.
Why would you support this project?
We are two guys who care about this world. We don’t just want to make money. We want make a good contribution in this world. Our contribution would be to bring these healthy japanese shoes to the people in Germany. The shoes are produced under fair conditions and our business seeks to be CO2 neutral. We will constantly calculate the CO2 output produced by facturing, importing and selling these shoes and will invest the necessary money in re-foresting projects. So our theoretical CO2 output is zero.
How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?
The money will be used to start importing the shoes and get the necessary assets.
Who are the people behind the project?
Komet is a well-known public figure of Berlin night life and Hannes is a young Psychology and Economics graduate who wants to be start his own business - business that makes sense because it brings healthy, stylish footwear to the people and makes people think about the health of their feet.
We know that a good life is a life of sharing. So if this project will make money in the future we are planning to support good social and communal projects. We don't want to accumulate millions of euros but invest into good projects and charity.
