"Birds of a Feather" band bus

We’re Amy and Ryan, the folk-pop duo “Birds of a Feather”.
We played hundreds of concerts the last couple of years, touring throughout Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Austria and Italy in our old little Fiat Punto.
We spent most of what we earned from our music on live equipment, to optimize the way we sound.
Unfortunately our car doesn’t have enough space left for all of our equipment, the suitcases etc. There’s also no chance to take our friends from the team along,
to help with the drive and the concerts.
We’ve been asked a lot: When are you playing in Hamburg, Berlin, Bremen or Dresden again?
We also had to cancel concert requests from Britain, Norway, Portugal or Sweden with a heavy heart!
It would be too much of a risk with our old car. We‘d also have to be able to sleep in the bus in order to travel longer distances, so we wouldn’t have to lose money.

The car broke down several times one hour before a gig. Engine smokes, speed wobbles and great relief after the venue owners picked us up with their minibus. Within a few minutes all of our stuff was reloaded... that’s when we first thought: We need a band bus!

Next spring we will go to Ireland again, to our beloved recording studio. We will record an entire album with a lot of new songs.
And with the new album on board
and hopefully a new „Birds of a Feather“ band bus
we’d love to come and play a lot of concerts for you guys in your area.

The goal is, with a bit of your help, to replace our old car with a used minibus. A minibus could offer way more space on tour for us for the years to come.

The project is for all of those who are moved by our music and for those, who want to support independent musicians in the most direct way possible.
