Germany's American Football club Berlin Adler is in a really bad situation. Too many debts of the past years are threatening he club's existence. Until April 15 we need 35.000€, to secure our 2015 season for our many teams (for jerseys, busses for away games, coaches salary, league licenses etc.).

Without the money the club will go into insolvency. If we don't succeed to generate 35.000€ until April 12, every single supporter will get his money back.

EVERY EURO AND EVERY DOLLAR COUNTS

Everyone that supports us with 100 Euro or more will receive 2 season tickets for our GFL home games in 2015 as a reward. In case we'll generate more than 35.000€, we would pay back our further debts or money could be invested in our several teams.

Our sports club consists of 10 teams with more than 350 active athletes (cheerleading and football, majority youth) and around 80 passive members:

· JunAcs (10-15 years)
· Diamantics (16-24 years)
· Aces (16-24 years)
· Flag Football Bambinis (7-10 years)
· Football C–Youth (10-12 years)
· Football B–Youth (12-15 years)
· Football A–Youth (16-18 years)
· GFL-Team
· Flag Football Men's team

What is the project goal and who is the project for?

This campaign helps to secure a future for our cheerleading members and football players.

The target group is really vast: Current and former football players and cheerleaders, their families and friends, football fans in Germany and abroad, sports lovers in general, sponsors, ...

Why would you support this project?

American Football is such a unique sport, unfortunately playing just a niché role in Germany - even though annually about 1.5 mio. people are watching the Super Bowl live on TV late at night. Believe it or not, but outside US the German American Football Association (AVFD) is the largest Football federation with the highest number of active players.

The Berlin Adler, founded in 1979, are one of the first teams being founded in Germany. The GFL-Team is the flagship of the whole club: six-time German Champion, two-time Euro Bowl Champion, We are Hauptstadtfootball.

Too many athletes, fans and supporters put all of their heart and sweat into this club for more than 35 years. Now it's our duty, to stand together as a Football Community and support the Berlin Adler!

How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?

The money will be invested into our ongoing needs for every team: jerseys, bus rides, coaches salary, etc.

In case we generate mor than 35.000€, all of it will be used to repay further existing debts.

Who are the people behind the project?

The club's leaders and the members agreed to this crowdfunding campaign on our last meeting on March 12, 2015.

We'll try to mobilize the whole German Football-Community and even above our borders. We hope for the support of our former players, plus well known people from the sports- and media-business.

ALL OR NOTHING. In case we don't generate 35.000€ until April 12, the Berlin Adler won't get any money and would have to cancel their 2015 season - all supporters will get their money back within 14 days.
