Blacksmith - Your Study Lounge

Blacksmith - Your Study Lounge ends the desperate search for a suitable study and workplace for students. Our Study Lounge consists of different areas, perfectly adapted to the different requirements of students. It includes zones for creative collaboration as well as retreats where students can work in a focused manner. Our flexible workplaces are complemented by a cool coffee bar with a wide range of drinks and snacks.
Blacksmith also creates a unique community for its members, both for their future professional careers and for their own social network.

We come to stay and grow. As we are convinced that we can attract many students in a relatively short period of time, our goal is to spread Blacksmith all over Germany in order to give every student in Germany the unique opportunity to become part of the Blacksmith family.
For you: We want you to benefit from the advantages of a modern and motivating working environment. At the same time, we want to create the perfect conditions for you to learn and study. In addition to students, pupils, trainees or start-ups (in the early stage) can also become part of the Blacksmith community and benefit from the unique offer.
For us: Based on our own experience, we have set ourselves the goal of offering students the opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of coffee shops and to put an end to the annoying search for a suitable job in the library.
We want to readjust the perspectives of learning and make learning a lifestyle in the coming years.

The expectations of a learning space have changed fundamentally in recent years. Due to the increasing number of students, most libraries are no longer able to offer sufficient workplaces. In addition, the technical infrastructure and the flexibility of the work areas in the public libraries no longer meet the demands of the students. We need your support! Lets, create a place together in Frankfurt that is unique in Europe, where you feel like home and where you can work successfully.

Funding Goal 1: 30,000 Euro
After your feedback and achievement of the first funding goal, we want to use the money to open Blacksmith - Your Study Lounge in Spring 2019. You help us to make a big dream come true, but at the same time to be part of something unique. The money will explicitly be used to furnish the premises in Frankfurt in order to create a modern and innovative working environment for the members.
Funding Goal 2: 45,000 Euro
The second funding objective will enable us to grow faster and become a permanent fixture on the student scene, first in Frankfurt and later in Germany. In addition, the funds will be used to offer the Blacksmith community with optimal technological conditions. We would use the money to constantly improve our services for students and make learning and working as pleasant as possible for you.
