We are BLACK VULPINE from Dortmund/Germany. Throughout the previous summer we have recorded our first full-length album, and soon it is about to be released. Our music (tight, female-fronted stoner rock) is virtually made to be pressed on vinyl. We are very much looking forward to presenting the full-length album “Hidden Places” to you in upcoming June - not only as a digital release, but also as a 12" vinyl LP with great cover art. Help us to realize this project!

What is this project all about?
We like to release our debut full-length album “Hidden Places” on 12" vinyl in addition to digital download. This campaign is specifically dedicated to financing the actual vinyl LP pressing, first of all with a limited edition of 300 copies.
What is the project goal and who is the project for?
We think, the eleven tracks on “Hidden Places” need to be pressed on vinyl and finished with a unique cover design. If you are fans of diverse and tight stoner rock music (that's exactly what you will find on "Hidden Places") and/or if you like to be owner of a nice record (to listen to it, and to touch it, and to look at it), you exactly know what we mean.
Apart from our wish to realize the vinyl pressing with the aid of this campaign - with you being an essential part of it - we of cause also have promotional aims in mind. So share and like us on facebook, twitter, whatsoever, so that we may even draw the attention of new fans to our music and the whole project. Eventually, the album may even convince some vinyl novices...
Why would you support this project?
After we have managed the whole production self-handedly - which has cost us a quite some time and involved (at some hidden places) a lot of sweat and dust – what is now missing is the wherewithal for the actual vinyl pressing.
This is where you come into play: you may enable us to finance the whole project by pre-ordering the LP or by ordering one of the other neat rewards.
We are totally committed to our album and we are highly motivated. With your support you show us that we are on the right track and you will enable us to actually follow it.

How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?
100% of the money goes into payment of the vinyl pressing plant!
Who are the people behind the project?
We are a stoner rock quartet from Dortmund/Germany: Sarah (vocals/guitar), Daria (guitar/backing vocals), Stefan (bass) and Rüdiger (drums/backing vocals).
We are known as BLACK VULPINE since late 2013, even though we have already been making music together (with the same cast) since 2004, sharing the stage with bands such as KYLESA and THE VINTAGE CARAVAN. Over the years our style kept evolving so that by the end of 2013 it was time for a fresh 3-track EP that was released on Moment of Collapse Records.
Pushed by positive feedback, and simply because plenty of new material was waiting to be recorded, we produced our (debut) album “Hidden Places” throughout last summer single-handedly, narrowing it down only very recently with the final tweaks and mixes. We are so much looking forward to finally presenting it to you in full length.

Sascha Voss from Written in Black Designworks is responsible for our complete artwork. He already designed the cover art for our 2013 EP, and now for "Hidden Places". Sascha also creates 15 exclusive screenprints for our "Hidden Places"-goes-Vinyl campaign.
TAPIR MEDIA
All of our official pictures throughout the last lears were shot by Dennis Treu from TAPIR MEDIA. Moreover Dennis has shot and cut our music video "Grace" as well as, very recently, some very neat (not yet published) live footage.
Moment of Collapse Records
MOCR has already released our 2013 EP. Now they will also release "Hidden Places" as a digital download album and they will promote and distribute the record.
Legal notice
5/4/15 - Unfortunately, the pressing plant will not be...
Unfortunately, the pressing plant will not be able to finish our Lp's before end of July/ beginning of August.
Our supporters will nevertheless receive the ordered bundles in June - just without the record - however including the download code!
That means our startnext supporters will exclusively get the digital version of "Hidden Places" about 2 months before the official release date!!! As soon as the record is ready we will send it without additional costs.
