Blade Ventures means doing the obvious! Inline-Skating belongs to our identity, we've been doing it for quite a while now and we do it passionately. We also like traveling and taking photos and videos. Now it's time to connect these things to establish a real project and now seems like a good time. It also means experiencing a country or a continent first hand. The whole thong we want to put into a film for you.
The first task is to manage to skate the proposed length of the journey on skates and secondly to produce a visual product that lets you to part of it. The film will be a mix of montages with strong imagery with good music and some more classic documentary-style sections where we explore a bunch of interesting already fixed destinations. To make things short, we are going on an adventure and we will take you with us.
We have this crazy idea, at least people sometimes say that sometimes. Maybe it's true, but we mean it and we know it can be done. We also know it's not always going to be a walk in the park. We've already put a lot of effort in this very project of Blade Ventures. The actual big chunk of work is still ahead of us. We realize that people are actually interested in this crazy idea and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. That of course gives us motivation. Once we are back after the six month long trip gathering clips we can and will start to focus working on our main product: our film. So, whoever is curious about what we as backpackers on skates and with cameras can achieve should give us us a chance and support us!
The money flows directly and unhindered into realizing the endeavor. It pays for travel expenses like flights, accommodation, food, insurances and so forth. Furthermore we have to invest in some more camping equipment for the times we are away from civilization, but also into filming equipment like drone or b-camera so that we can produce those images that South America provides.
