Blessed Hellride - the 2nd Album

It’s been exactly three years since Blessed Hellride’s first album came out and the time is ripe to hit the studio for our second LP.
The upcoming album is called Bourbon King and it’s going to pack 10 or 11 songs. The music is Blessed Hellride’s signature mix of rock and metal and the songs talk about women, whisky, and life as it should be. But this time we also break open a dark chapter where we deal with topics like death, loss, and sacrifice. Since the last album we’ve been developing musically, though without losing touch with the principles of Blessed Hellride. Fat riffs and catchy hooklines are still what we’re about!

We’ll serve you with several updates over the course of the campaign.

The goal of our second record is clear: after the early years in the business we want to tighten our claim for a place in the music scene and to reach many more persons with our music.

The band and the songs are for people who like fat, oldschool, heavy rock; for rockers, rebels, metalheads and bikers. For all the tough bastards who would never say no to a cool blonde beer and smooth whisky at a bonfire and are searching for fresh material for its soundtrack.

As other musicians can confirm, the music business is really hard. Having a label or an agency doesn’t mean you’ve made it. Our earnings have risen, but the running costs for the shows, crew, transport etc have risen with them. That’s why we are not able to produce a second album without your help.

You know us: if we start something we do it properly. Blessed Hellride is not a simple band project any more. It is all our energy, our passion and our entire lifeblood. And this is why it would be a huge thing for us if we could make it happen and release a new Blessed Hellride album with the help of our fantastic Hellride community.

In September, immediately after the end of the campaign, we’ll be heading into the SU2 Studio in Wallerfangen, Saarland. The recording process will last the entire month and the beginning of October will be dedicated to mixing and mastering. After that, Thorsten, our label guy at Rodeostar, is taking over for the production and marketing phase. The Bourbon King is expected to hit the shops in early 2018.
