What is this project all about?
In July we are producing our next CD comprised of our favorite repertoire and pieces for Christmas, all arranged by ourselves for ourselves!

What is the project goal and who is the project for?
We want to record beautiful music, which you can listen to while relaxing and roasting chestnuts in your fireplace or while stressed out driving your car, to shop for last minute Christmas presents. It is our desire to make your Christmas season even more merry! This CD is perfect for everybody who loves to celebrate christmas!

How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?
We will meet mid-summer to record a new Christmas CD. Instead of going to the lake like everyone does in summer, we will be mastering the CD in the recording studio! We will work by the sweat of our brows in order for everyone to enjoy our CD at Christmas - or even better – enjoy one yourself and save yourself the stress of last-minute shopping by giving family and friends our CD for Christmas. The money will help us to finance a part of our costs and if we don’t have time to go to the lake, at least we can go to the ice-cream parlor after the work is done!
Who are the people behind the project?
We, BRASSerie, are five brass players – 2 trumpets, horn, trombone and tuba, united by music and years of friendship. Shortly after founding our brass quintett in 1999 in the Palatinate region of Germany we were engaged to play concerts throughout the entire country - the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern or Sauerland Herbst - just to mention some of the concert highlights. In 2007 our ensemble traveled to the far east playing a concert tour for enthralled audiences in Bejing, Shanghai and other cities throughout China.
Our repertoire consists of innovative and exciting arrangements written by our quintet members solely for BRASSerie therby creating our specific and unique sound. Arrangements of famous melodies performed with virtuosity at a breakneck speed. Voluminous, soft, sensitive moments are ingredients which belong to the sound which BRASSerie stands for.

AlbumtitelJetzt ist es raus: unser neues Album wird ein Weihnachtsalbum! Soviel war schon klar, aber hier ist der Name des Albums:Alla Ho Ho Ho!Das ist die logische Konsequenz, nachdem unser letztes Album den Titel "Alla Hopp!" trug!Für alle Nichtpfälzer unter unseren Fans und Unterstützern:Alla Hopp! (sprich: [alla hopp]) ist eine typisch pfälzische Redewendung. Ins Hochdeutsche übersetzt bedeutet Alla Hopp! ungefähr „na dann“, passt eigentlich immer und überall und drückt Alles und Nichts aus: Ermunterung und Begeisterung, Gleichgültigkeit und Bestätigung, Versöhnung und Enttäuschung, Begrüßung und Abschied.Es sind noch genau zwei Wochen Zeit für alle Fans auch noch Supporter zu werden. Wir freuen uns über jeden!!!
