To this point, my project “Cloud in a room” has mainly been financed by the support of friends and little "exchange deals". However, for the actual manufacturing of the CD I haven't been able to find an alternative to a monetary payment. This is why I am turning to crowd-funding as a source for making "Cloud In a Room" possible! I am very grateful for any support I can get - in exchange I am offering you a few nice items (please refer to the list top right).

What is this project all about?
Last year, together with a small team I recorded my first EP in Berlin, Marburg and Ketzin. Last winter the songs were mixed and mastered, and I would like to release a CD in May 2014. Our record release show is already scheduled to take place at Schokoladen in Berlin this June.
What is the project goal and who is the project for?
My goal of this campaign is to finance the last step of the "Cloud In A Room" project via pre-sales - this way we both have an advantage, since if you like my music you can for example order the CD and you will receive it before the record release show! And if you're maybe up for a little more action, you can also book a vocals lesson or even a little living room show at your own home. Also if you like, I can cover your favorite song for you and send you a recording. In general everyone who enjoys passionately "handmade" music is invited to support this project!
Why would you support this project?
I think crowdfunding is a wonderful way for artists to start projects independently and also in independence of companies making decisions concerning the project.
You can support the project “Johanna Amelie EP Release” if you would like to participate in the magic music can bring to all of us. With your support I will be able to deliver you self-made originals as well as a proper record release show that will allow you to dream and escape!

Johanna Amelie and her wonderful co-musicians and friends who helped, making this project and the music happen. Friends who made music videos for me, helped me with photos, the design, friends who inspired me and motivated me to keep on going.
