In the spring of 2019, I initially just started to design a music media storage system. Meanwhile, it has been developed for series production. The production of the first 500 pieces of the [C]MODUL could begin.
Unlike digital music, the physical medium record or CD consists of individual components. The exterior is designed and a booklet also provides the listener with additional information about contributors and, in part, the genesis or background of the work. Emotional moments or experiences are often associated with the music of a particular record or CD. In addition, the physical preservation also represents an appreciation of artistic achievement.
The [C]MODUL system aesthetically implements the aforementioned aspects. It dissolves from the pure storage purpose and is initially there to present the record or CD.
With the campaign I want to share this idea and the object with others, but also to find out how to optimize the production on a larger scale.
This small piece of furniture can please anyone and can also be equipped with other items.

Successful financing gives me the opportunity to realize the zero series of the product stress-free and to minimize the investment risk. The main focus is on the procurement of magnets, other acrylic glass blanks and packaging material in larger quantities. A second 3D printer would be the icing on the cake.
Until now it is still a solo preneurs project. As the tasks become more extensive I get support from family and friends.
I have studied architecture and professional experience in product management, besides developing in my spare time technical inventions and design objects. The contents of the entire campaign were created without outside help, the product developed alone and protected by the registration with the Patent and Trademark Office.
