The Nest - build a tiny house in Berlin

The prototype for the tiny house is named "Nest“. It will be build in the public in Prinzessinnengarten Berlin Kreuzberg. The design of the "Nest" is based on a basic building block - a module made of wood. This module is constructed with timber and plywood, filled with natural insulation, for example wool. The prototype will be build with the intention that everybody can easily learn how to rebuild a tiny house for her or his own purpose. Simplicity and affordability are the main goals. And of course the house will look great!

For building the tiny house we will need to buy the material, mostly wood from a hardware store. Additionally we will cover the expenses for the workshops during the public building.

We are Carlotta and Hendrik from Wieder Wild. On a long journey it has become clear to us that we want to participate in preserving our planet. Together with Lena, Christian, Larsen and Carsten we combine the most diverse talents. But above all, we have what you all out there also have: two hands and the desire to create something with a meaning.
