A border region village between the Czech Republic and Germany tells the love story of TOMMY (19) from socially disadvantaged backgrounds and JULIA (18) coming from a wealthy family. Julia is getting unexpectedly pregnant. Against their parents opinion Julia and Tommy want to build a future with the child. Money is a big issue for Tommy who works as a baker's student. Tommy is offered a risky deal - drug smuggling. The young relationship is put to the test.

What is this project all about?
90 Minutes describing the story of Julia and Tommy. While she is coming from a wealthy family, he is struggling with money issues. He decides to smuggle drugs (Crystal Meth) to earn extra money. The movie relates to the problems in the border region between the Czech Republic and Germany. The director Robert Heber comes from that region and wants to raise awareness through his film.
What is the project goal and who is the project for?
The goal is to raise awareness of the drug and drug smuggling problem in that area.
Why would you support this project?
„Das richtige Leben“ is a low budget production. At the beginning we did not know if we could make the movie with the budget we had. With a great team and thanks to the commitment of everyone we succeeded. We are now working on the post production. You can expect an exciting, emotional and compelling story with great actors.
How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?
The material of 24 shooting days has to be edited and so does the sound. The image has to be color graded
There are costs for recording the music for the soundtrack.
Who are the people behind the project?
I am Robert Heber, director und graduated from the Filmuniversität Potsdam-Babelsberg. I am working on that story for two years and its very important for me to finish that project.
