A platform for European cultural history

Anyone who wants to deal with art and culture today has a hard time.
There are more concerts and exhibitions than ever before, and with the Internet, we have a tool that can help us find everything we ever dreamed of.

However, no matter how hard we try, it will all remain a patchwork, individual points of light in a sea of ignorance that change neither our mind nor our soul on a fundamental level.
What is missing today is a basic cultural education and a place away from schools or universities where we can obtain it. A place where all the knowledge about our history and culture is collected and prepared in such a way, that we can actively make it a part of our lives.

I have been working on such a project for a long time. On a platform for education and culture, which should consist of several parts.
Several authors and I are writing the first contributions to a comprehensive introduction to the history and culture of Europe.

The Project

With your help, I could expand the blog in such a way that it would provide a comprehensive overview of the history and culture of Europe and enable people to develop a basic cultural education based on these contributions.

In addition to the blog, a platform will be created on which historians, musicologists, Philosophers and much more can offer online courses and podcasts on their special fields, so that we have the opportunity to deal intensively with a wide variety of topics.

At the same time, a kind of social network will be established on which we can network with lecturers, artists, intellectuals and cultural workers from all over the world and thus exchange information about this wonderful world of knowledge and culture.

The goal is to create the blog, the platform and the social network.

To create a central place for all those who are interested in the culture and history of Europe and who still know how important education is for our children and us.

The question is not why anyone should support this project.

The question is why no one has ever taken any money into the hand to implement such a project.

Because education and culture are among the most important building blocks of a highly developed society and the basis for successful cooperation.

Therefore, I ask you for your support. A support to create this place of education and culture, where we can educate our children and ourselves again comprehensively by means of the great works of our history.

My big dream has long been a place where I can find everything I love and consider important. The history of philosophy as well as an introduction to the world of fine arts or explanations of the works of classical music.

In addition, together we can bring it to life.

When the first funding goal is reached, I can create the project in its basic outlines and bear all additional costs with it.
In concrete terms, this means that the blog will be expanded, the platform newly created and a simple social network implemented.
Above all, however, these individual projects will be networked with each other in such a way that on the blog you will get an introduction to the life of W. A. Mozart, for example, and on the platform you will receive a course on his works (such as a pianist who plays directly on the piano from his oeuvre and explains it), and on the platform you will then be able to share your knowledge or personal impressions with other people.

With the achievement of the second funding goal, we could create a truly independent platform, adapted in design and optimally adapted to you. And we could create a social network according to our common ideas and wishes.
To create a truly independent and free place of knowledge and education on the net.

And every additional Euro I get will be put into the project, because there is still so much to do!
I am thinking, for example, of a project for young people and for schools. Or an extension as an independent app to always carry a place of retreat in one's pocket in this noisy world. And so on and so on!
