EAT-SURF-LIVE: A Cornwall Companion

The image of Cornwall in the German-speaking world is that of an old-fashioned place where life resembles Rosamunde Pilcher-stories.

In our book, we want to present the real Cornwall – a place we would describe as dynamic, attracting, diverse, eco-conscious and energizing.

EAT SURF LIVE should surprise people with creative recipes, a laid-back surf-culture and the interesting, innovative people of Cornwall.

The book will not be a “normal“ travel guide, but a real travel companion, a friend that guides you through one of the most amazing and astonishing places we've encountered so far.

We would like to show the world, how beautiful this place in the south-west of England really is. And this is done by creating a unique travel book, which enriches the reader with personal stories and alternative views on the region.

The book will be published in German, as young travelers in Austria, Switzerland and Germany should get to know a “new“ England, the surf, the mouthwatering food and the charming Cornish people.

EAT SURF LIVE will be full of authentic stories and sought-out and useful information. We want to attract an audience between the age of 25 and 40 – boys and girls alike.

The book will also contain beautiful photographs and it will be stylish (thanks to our graphic designer Verena Michelitsch). And of course it will qualify as a nice present.

We are young creatives, depending on our audience to finance our big dream: Holding our beautiful book in our hands and sharing our experiences with family, friends and strangers alike.

When you support us, you get a copy of the book - printed or as a digital version, depending on how much you are willing to pay. By supporting us from the first day, you make the printing of the book possible. (We've worked for free - that's for sure!) You can read our lively stories and fun anecdotes and maybe give them to your friends or guests. (Providing you are a Cornish hotel/B&B or Restaurant.)

We promise high quality and standard plus a feast for the eye while flipping through the book.

The fundings will directly go to our printer's in order that you can get your book as soon as possible. Our trips, the design, the photos and everything else is done on our own costs.

We are desperately in need for this money, because we would love to see this book printed.
