With the psychological drama "Ein Anderer", four students from the Ruhrgebiet will complete their degree in film at the FH- Dortmund.

Why do we all want to belong to society? Why do we all want to be „normal“? What means „normality“? And how lonely would you have to feel in order to learn to love yourself? We try to answer these questions by telling the story of Mila. A woman who is not part of anything, who is gay and feels guilty because of that. What happens, when your parents never accepted you the way you truly are - a question that needs to be part of cinematic storytelling more often.
