Join us for an exciting ride through 5 live recordings that were filmed in the studio and will be released on all streaming platforms and YouTube
"Brașov Tales" will be an EP containing 5 tracks. We invited drummer Chris Coleman (Prince, Beck) to get in the studio with us for a live recording and the whole process was captured on video. The music will be released on CD, Vinyl (if we reach that goal!), streaming platforms and as videos. We kindly ask for Your support to finance video editing, music mixing, mastering and everything else connected to the release.

What is this project all about?
It's ALL about the love of sharing music. I wrote 5 new tracks especially for a collaboration with master drummer Chris Coleman. The recordings came out wonderful and we'd like to share the joy we felt playing together. The best music often happens in the moment and that's why we decided to capture the creation live in the studio. We can't wait for an audio and video release of the material. By the Way, in case You were wondering: All the music is loosely connected to Brașov, a beautiful city in Romania. Tracks were either written there or inspired by places and people in the city.
What is the project goal and who is the project for?
this is targeted at music lovers, people who like my music, live music in general and would like to support independent artists and music releases.
Why would you support this project?
Production costs will hit close to 10k - and there will be no earnings except CD sales. Streaming platforms provide no income that would even cover studio costs for 1 hour. In fact, releasing music has long moved from a form of income to merely a labor of love. This is the reality of the music business today. Artists like Yours Truly are entirely depending on people who love their music.
How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?
We're glad you asked! The money will help covering the following: recording (studio costs), travel expenses (flights), mixing & mastering, camera team, video edits, physical release (GEMA, artwork, CD production, You name it) and finally a modest promotion campaign. Me, Myself & I. That is, Lars Kutschke, performing artist & composer of the tracks. Also: project organiser, content creator, gardener and what-have-You.
