Epilogue

Together we (the production company FilmDas GmbH and many film enthusiasts from and around Berlin) are producing a low-budget science fiction feature film with your support.

The plot in a few sentences:
Set entirely within the confines of a small space capsule, Epilogue follows astronaut Eren Gaparso on a mission to colonize the Earth-like planet Ayuna. Upon waking from cryogenic sleep, he discovers his fleet has vanished, leaving him utterly alone. Relying only on his AI companion, Eren tries to locate any survivors, when he makes a disturbing discovery: Massive organic structures the size of mountain ranges crawl all over the supposedly uninhabited planet below..

EPILOGUE is a chamber play, the film takes place exclusively inside a small space capsule.

EPILOGUE is not only intended to be a stand-alone feature film, but also the start of a sci-fi saga in several parts, inspired by sci-fi films from the 1970s, 80s and 90s.

Our aim with EPILOGUE is to bring an extraordinary science fiction adventure - as visually stunning and impressive as possible - to the screen. We don't just want to tell our audience the story of astronaut Eren Gaparso, we want to take them on a journey to the other side of the galaxy with lovingly handcrafted scenography and sophisticated special effects.

We have already realized the lion's share of our project under our own steam: A complex spaceship set has been built, excellent equipment has been gathered (we are shooting on ARRI Alexa Mini and anamorphic Atlas Mercury optics), we have set up a self-financed studio and a motivated, enthusiastic shooting team is waiting in the wings.
