Ancestral Stories: Crowdfunding our Glassgod debut album

We are Glassgod, Symphonic Metal newcomers from Leipzig, Germany. Since the end of 2018 we have been busy working on our debut album »Ancestral Stories«. Now we don't give the evil C any more chance to delay our release further & finally release »Ancestral Stories« on May 28 - first digitally for stream & download on all major platforms. »Ancestral Stories« is a concept album with 13 tracks about the formation of the Earth & evolution, which ultimately pierces through mankind's mind. Progressive riffs meet atmospheric orchestral & synthesizer foundations, powerful drums meet the flowing character of film music & melodic clean vocals meet brutal growls. We create a sonic & lyrical theme world full of emotional richness: sometimes turbulent, ominous & dystopian, sometimes fragile, invigorating & colorful.

Our families, friends & first fans, who became aware through our concert at Hellraiser 2020, our YouTube, Instagram or Facebook channels or the collaboration with metal icon Liv Kristine on our new single »Mankind«, already got to know & celebrate several songs from our debut album, which makes us incredibly proud! Now we turn to all symphonic & prog metal fans as well as lovers of soundtrack music, rock, good riffs, catchy hooks, concept albums & everyone who appreciates it when young bands want to write their own chapter in the great book of rock & metal with a lot of heart & soul.

Now we need your support for pressing & promo. Our goal is to raise 1500,- € to press a first edition of 250 CD digipaks incl. booklet (costs about 800,- €). The rest of the budget (about 700,- €) is planned to be invested for promo like sampling at playlist curators, bloggers, labels & social media.
