Three Days of Glitter and Mud / Photobook

After many trips to various festivals throughout germany, hundreds of concerts and thousands of photos I will finally release my amazing photobook Three Days of Glitter and Mud.

Three Days of Glitter and Mud gives you a direct, uncensored view on festival life. Nothing about the pictures was faked, everything stayed just as ugly or beautiful as it appeared in front of the camera. That is why you will always perceive it as a festival visitor rather than as a journalist. You will explore the complexity and diversity of events, people and music, as different as they could be.

Besides that I shot many different bands and artists such as Roisin Murphy, Jake Isaac or Flume for the book, which will contribute a very special feel to it.

Who is my project for?

All of you! It's for every festival lover, canned ravioli connoisseur, music freak, part time camper and muddy feet out there!
What could be cooler than bringing the pure, hot and dirty festival feeling directly to your home? Nothing! So hurry up, grab a copy of my book and feel that energy of an incredible festival summer.

What is the project goal?

With this book and this project I want to share my adventures, my hangovers, my sunburnt skin and everything else with you. I want to get that great festival feeling to your homes. You should recognize you and your own adventures in my photos, you should have fun, maybe be shocked, but amazed from all those summer vibes.

To realize this project and releasing this book I need your help! I need to raise enough money to pay all the printing and shipping costs to finally be able to share my work with the world.

For me photobooks are the most beautiful medium to share my work with you. The feel of the paper, those prints, the gold embossing and the euphoria before heading to the next page are just priceless. Three Days of Glitter and Mud focuses on the music, the people, and the overall chaos of a music festival. Three Days of Glitter and Mud gives you a direct, uncensored view on festival life. Nothing about the pictures was faked, everything stayed just as ugly or beautiful as it appeared in front of the camera. It's gonna be muddy, drunk, bright, flashing, glittery and just amazing. It is pure festival emotions.

Together with my printing lab I sorted out incredible inlay and cover papers to construct an experience beyond just seeing an image.

How will the money be used?

If this project succeeds all the money will directly be used to print and embellish the book as well as prepare all the rewards and specials for you.
