The Gorilla Guardian Adventure Marathon in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park aims to raise awareness and funds for mountain gorilla conservation. By combining adventure, fitness, and wildlife conservation, the event will attract participants (tourists) passionate about protecting endangered species like mountain gorillas to these communities where the marathon will take place and will support the local communities by buying their craftworks. The funds raised from the Gorilla Guardian Adventure Marathon will be used to organize the marathon and cater for all operational costs on ground to see the success of the Gorilla Guardian Adventure Marathon first one of the kind concerning the Gorilla conservation.
