HILLOCK | CD Coming Home

It took almost ten years until the formation of the band was set. Many of the songs already existed in Chris' head or on some slips of paper. It was until the initiative of Julia that Chris was convinced intotrying some of his songs and starting the first rehearsals. And luck has been on our side that Peter and Peter have had some spare time to join in. By a fluke Roland appeared on our stage.

And here we are. Having played our first gigs and more songs in our pockets than trees in a forest we want the world to be able to listen to our music. So we're going to record an album. That's what it's all about!

Aims. The aims are obvious: We want to record our songs. And we don't want to do that with some smartphone, but in a professional recording studio.

Why. Because people like our songs and have asked us more than once, where they can buy CDs or download our music. And because the songs and the lyrics are worth it - especially the lyrics - to be heard. Our secret ingredient is the fusion of vocals and guiar.

How. We don't have a record in poor quality. We want the really good stuff. We want to have our songs recorded in a way, they can even be played on radio stations.

Target audience. We want to make an album for all those many people out there who want to listen to music with rough edges, to handcrafted music.

All of the money donated will be used for the production of the album Coming Home. The recording sessions, mastering, manufacturing of the CDs and design of the booklet. And of course for the distribution of the rewards ;)
