Ein Horst aus Gold

Horst Klub is an independent and self-governing cultural association that has been established in October 2014. It‘s main goal is to further alternative and subcultural music projects worldwide and welcomes everyone regardless of colour, gender or origin.

The „Horst idea“ came from a bunch/couple of visionaries who wanted to add something different and affordable to the cultural programme in an area that has long lost its social identity!
And they did. Horst creates room for people who want to realize their visions: whether it might be music, fine arts, movies or skateboarding. So, it‘s not just your random dive bar! It‘s an actual spot for DIY projects. It can be bar, concert hall, gallery and skate ramp, at the same time!
And by offering all that we do not want to become commercial! We want everyone to be abel to afford our concerts and drinks and most of all (!) we want to continue to be your favorite place to let loose after work.

Here is why we need your help: Horst is facing several repair tasks that simply can‘t be done by our volunteers! The biggest tasks are the renovation of our sanitary arrangements and of our electric infrastructure. We cannot fix those problems without professional support from outside and we do not want to change our low price policy. So please support us in those matters and help us keeping Horst the way it is. Stay tuned!

Urgent goals are the renovation of our sanitary arrangements and electric infrastructure. Besides that, the roof needs immediate fixing to avoid flooding during heavy rain. Furthermore an improvement of the facilities backstage is needed such as installing a shower and kitchen for the bands.

5.000 CHF/€: full renovation of the toilet facilities (pipelines, sinks, soap dispensers, toilet bowls) & technical equipment in front of the stage & decoration for a rad atmosphere in the Klub

7.500 CHF/€:
the above plus safety inspection of electrical installation in the Klub

10.000 CHF/€:
the above plus we repair the roof so it doesn't leak anywhere anymore when it's raining! Yay!

20.000 CHF/€:
the above plus + we build a shower/kitchen for the bands!
