What is this project all about?
I Was Told. will be a contemporary circus piece, consisting of ring juggling and slam poetry, which deals with the topic of identity. In I Was Told., the artist plays with, questions and manipulates how the audience and the artist herself perceive her as woman and performer on stage. In terms of funding, I Was Told. needs your help!
What is the project goal and who is the project for?
This piece is for everyone who loves contemporary circus, ring juggling, poetry or feminism. It's funny, it's honest, emotional and empowering.

How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?
If the crowdfunding is successful, it will be possible to finance and outside eye, a dramaturg and a lighting designer in order to finish the piece and complete the last step before the ultimate aim: the premiere of the piece. So far, the creation has been funded by the artist herself, but for the last step, I Was Told. needs your support.
