ICK MACH WELLE! is a music project, which gives people with disabilities access to electronic music. In a weekly workshop we accompany the participants on their way to the stage.

What is this project all about?

ICK MACH WELLE! is a music project, in which persons with physical or intellectual disabilities learn how to produce music with music software, synthesizers and various machines. The workshop is managed by professional musicians and teachers. The aim is to bring some of the participants on stage. We want inclusion - also in the club!

What is the project goal and who is the project for?

Our aim is to encourage and enable persons with disabilities how to make electronic music and to go on stage with it. Therewith we want to contribute to a future, in which artists with disabilities are not exotic anymore, but normal.

Why would you support this project?

Persons with disabilities are still discriminated on many levels in our everyday life. We want to change this and need your support for that!
We are a innovative project with a vision: ICK MACH WELLE! shall be just the start of a long, musical journey, which shall lead to a music label for artists with handicaps and without and many more projects.

How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?

If we achieve our financial goal, we will work with the machines such as drum machines, synthesizers, record players, microphones, cables etc - basically everything one needs to produce electronic music. Our second goal will wider the range of instruments.
Also we want to rent a studio or rehearsal room for the whole time of the workshop, so that we don't have to set up and take down the equipment before and after every session.
