And you can start your good life.
It's all about you, actually.
About your good life and how you find out what that means for you.
Ikigai is the intersection of what you love, what you are good at, what the world needs and what you can be paid for.
Ikigai or the good life is a book full of questions. It is really almost only questions because we believe that good questions will get you much further than any self-help book.
And then it's just about you and what you make of it.

Good questions, like:
• What activities make your eyes sparkle?
• In which topics would you like to deepen your understanding?
• What would you like to do more often?
• What comes easy to you?
• If someone asked your loved ones what they love and admire you for - what would they say?
• What challenges in the world would you like to tackle?
• If you had a mission: what would it be?
And because we care about the world and a good life for everyone, it's not just about you, it's about the others as well. For every book you buy, we donate € 1 to Doctors Without Borders, who do a great job and save lives around the world.
Of course, we could say that the book is for anyone who wants to live a good life. But who does not want that?
The book is something for you, if you (want to) ask yourself :
• How do I want to live?
• What is important to me?
• What am I particularly good at?
• Which social topics am I contemplating?
• When do I feel in my power and how can I take my own place in the world?
• And how can I make money with it??
Our book raises the questions and now it's up to you.
Because only you know what your answers mean for your life.
Because there is so much more hidden in you and sometimes you feel like you are living past your real life.
Because there is nothing better than to see people in their full strength and because your job bores you worse than back in school.
Because you know that the right questions at the right time can work wonders and you want to support a friend in his/her mid-life crisis.
Because people who reach their full potential are happier, and happier people tend to take better care of our world.
Because it's fun to dream big.
Because you've got big New Year's resolutions.
Because you can not wait until the delicious ice cream shop reopens after the long winter. Because life can be so beautiful.
There are many reasons.
With your contribution we can have the book printed and a little later you hold a book designed and written with love in your hands and ask yourself the first question.
Then you take the book to your favourite cafe or on vacation. You become friends. Slowly your dreams take shape and you take the first steps in a new direction.
High-quality materials, local production, environmental protection and sustainability are very important to us, which is why we primarily use FSC-certified papers and have the book produced in and around Vienna.
For every book you buy, 1 € goes to Doctors Without Borders.
With 10.000 € we can produce a first edition of the book in German and English.
We can now also settle the fee for the author, the friendly tax advisor and the shipping costs.

Franka Kohler has been reflecting the question of what it means and, above all, how to live a good life for a long time: a life that makes sense for oneself as well as for the rest of the world.
As a coach and seminar leader, she accompanies people in their journey to professional realignment by answering this question for themselves, clarifying their vision, overcoming obstacles and implementing their plans: so that they can bring into the world what wants to spring to life.
Franka found her own good life in her Tiny House in a lively village south of Berlin. Information about her work on www.franka-kohler.com
